What is the best time to go for Devkund Trek?

Devkund Trek is a year-round destination attracting an influx of tourists for being a perfect weekend getaway. 

The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon when the whole place becomes beautiful, bountiful, and green. The weather is pleasant and the climate is perfect for a trek.

The rainfall is at its peak in July and August. The trek may get closed due to heavy rainfall during these months.

What is the batch size usually of Devkund Waterfall Trek?

Usually, the batch size of this trek is between 10-12 people. This comprises men, women, and children. We do not prefer to exceed this as it might cause chaos. We believe in giving attention to each of our travelers, so we stick to the number.

What is the climate in Devkund Waterfall?

Summers are hot and humid, and the temperature touches 40 degrees Celsius. Winters have a comparatively milder climate (around 28 degrees Celsius), and the weather remains Cool and Dry. Tourists can visit amusing places such as Ghangad Fort, Devkund waterfall, Bhira Dam. Tourists can also camp near Bhira Reservoir.

Can we smoke or drink alcohol during Devkund Waterfall Fort Trek?

Drinking or smoking is prohibited during the trek. Anyone found doing so will be barred from joining us for the trekking expedition and will be asked to leave the site immediately. No refund is applicable during this condition.

Can we swim in Devkund Waterfall?

About 130 Km from Mumbai & 100 from Pune, Devkund waterfall is a perfect spot to go for a short trip to dive into natural pool of water!

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trekfit Adventures, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. We request all participants to carefully read and understand our cancellation and refund policy before confirming their booking.

1. Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before Departure

If you cancel your trek more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, a 30% cancellation charge will be applicable. The remaining amount will be processed according to the applicable refund policy.

2. Cancellation Within 12 Hours or On-the-Spot Cancellation

For cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled departure, or in case of an on-the-spot cancellation / no-show, no refund will be provided.

3. Booking Transfer or Event Change

Once a booking is confirmed, refunds are generally not applicable. However, subject to the conditions mentioned below, the paid booking amount may be:

• Used for another Trekfit Adventures event within the next 3 months, subject to availability and applicable price differences.

• Transferred to a friend or another participant.

4. Prior Intimation Required

To avail of the booking transfer or event-change option, participants must inform Trekfit Adventures at least 14 hours before the scheduled trek departure time.

Requests received after this period may not be eligible for transfer or event changes.

5. Trek Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

If a trek is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of Trekfit Adventures, including:

• Police restrictions

• Government restrictions

• Natural calamities

• Severe weather conditions

• Other unforeseen circumstances

40% of the booking amount will be refunded.

6. Alternative Trek Option

In case the planned trek cannot be conducted, our trek leaders will make every possible effort to arrange an alternative nearby trek, subject to:

• Availability

• Weather conditions

• Government permissions

• Safety conditions

This option will be provided whenever operationally feasible, allowing participants to still enjoy their planned weekend adventure.

7. Changes to Itinerary

Trekfit Adventures always makes every effort to conduct the trek according to the planned itinerary. However, changes to the itinerary, timings, route, pickup schedule, transportation, or activities may be necessary due to:

• Weather conditions

• Road or traffic conditions

• Safety concerns

• Government or police restrictions

• Natural events or calamities

• Operational requirements

• Other unforeseen circumstances

Any such changes will be made in the interest of participant safety and the smooth operation of the event.

Important Note

Trek timings and schedules are approximate and may vary depending on:

• The trekking pace of the group

• Weather conditions

• Road and traffic conditions

• Local restrictions

• Other unforeseen circumstances

A delay of approximately 1–2 hours may occur during the trek or return journey.

Agreement to Policy

By booking a trek or event with Trekfit Adventures, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to the above Cancellation, Refund, Booking Transfer and Itinerary Policies.
