  •  03:30 am: Reach Base Village and rest for some time on the bus.

  • 04:30 am: Good Morningâ ¦ Breakfast and introduction round.

  • 05:00 am: Trek starts from the base point.

  • 08:30 am: Reach Kokankada and Enjoy your time at Kokankada.

  • 11:00 pm: Start to descend.

  • 01:00 pm: Grab lunch on time and back down at the base village.

Harishchandragad trek Tips

1. Can we drive to Pachnai Village - Harishchandragad Trek?

Yes, you can drive to Panchnai village. Please note there is no mobile network in the village. Harishchandragad trek difficulty level from the Pachnai village is medium. It takes two hours to reach the Harishchandragad temple. The trek route is well marked, and barriers are placed at dangerously exposed sections to help hikers avoid any accidents. The road conditions from Ghoti turn till Pachnai village are in bad condition suited for SUV car. 

2. Distance from Mumbai to Pachnai village?

Six hours drive from Mumbai - 180 km approx.

3. Distance from Pune to Pachnai Village?

Harishchandragad trek from Pune via the Pachnai route is six hours drive from Pune, 240 km approx. 

4. Where can we park our cars?

Base Village at your own risk. There is ample parking available. 

5. Is there any parking charge at Harishchandragad Trek, Pachnai Village?

Yes, locals normally ask for a parking fee.

We will not stay at Harishchandragad for this event. We are going for a day trek; we will start early morning and return by lunch at the Pachnai village.

Cash payment is not accepted. Registration against 100% upfront payment only via Gpay / UPI / NEFT / IMPS / Payment Gateway on the spot payment not accepted. We need to book in advance bus/jeep and make other arrangements upfront payment is a must.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trekfit Adventures, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. We request all participants to carefully read and understand our cancellation and refund policy before confirming their booking.

1. Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before Departure

If you cancel your trek more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, a 30% cancellation charge will be applicable. The remaining amount will be processed according to the applicable refund policy.

2. Cancellation Within 12 Hours or On-the-Spot Cancellation

For cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled departure, or in case of an on-the-spot cancellation / no-show, no refund will be provided.

3. Booking Transfer or Event Change

Once a booking is confirmed, refunds are generally not applicable. However, subject to the conditions mentioned below, the paid booking amount may be:

  • Used for another Trekfit Adventures event within the next 3 months, subject to availability and applicable price differences.

  • Transferred to a friend or another participant.

4. Prior Intimation Required

To avail of the booking transfer or event-change option, participants must inform Trekfit Adventures at least 14 hours before the scheduled trek departure time.

Requests received after this period may not be eligible for transfer or event changes.

5. Trek Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

If a trek is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of Trekfit Adventures, including:

  • Police restrictions

  • Government restrictions

  • Natural calamities

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

40% of the booking amount will be refunded.

6. Alternative Trek Option

In case the planned trek cannot be conducted, our trek leaders will make every possible effort to arrange an alternative nearby trek, subject to:

  • Availability

  • Weather conditions

  • Government permissions

  • Safety conditions

This option will be provided whenever operationally feasible, allowing participants to still enjoy their planned weekend adventure.

7. Changes to Itinerary

Trekfit Adventures always makes every effort to conduct the trek according to the planned itinerary. However, changes to the itinerary, timings, route, pickup schedule, transportation, or activities may be necessary due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Road or traffic conditions

  • Safety concerns

  • Government or police restrictions

  • Natural events or calamities

  • Operational requirements

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

Any such changes will be made in the interest of participant safety and the smooth operation of the event.

Important Note

Trek timings and schedules are approximate and may vary depending on:

  • The trekking pace of the group

  • Weather conditions

  • Road and traffic conditions

  • Local restrictions

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

A delay of approximately 1–2 hours may occur during the trek or return journey.

Agreement to Policy

By booking a trek or event with Trekfit Adventures, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to the above Cancellation, Refund, Booking Transfer and Itinerary Policies.
