Hampi

Nestled in the heart of Karnataka, the historic village of Hampi is a treasure trove of ancient wonders and natural beauty. This South Indian gem is renowned for its rich history, dotted with the remnants of temple complexes that once thrived during the mighty Vijayanagara Empire. In this enchanting destination, every stone tells a story, and every corner whisper echoes of a glorious past.

Gokarna

The name Gokarna conjures up images of long secluded beaches, serene sunsets, never ending horizons and expansive sea with a tinge of the local flavour and backpackers.  The temple town is now an emerging beach destination that offers something to different types of tourists with its natural beauty and its history steeped in mythology.The long sandy stretches of Om Beach and Kudle Beach are a delight for every beach lover. The beaches offer breathtaking vistas of the expansive Arabian Sea and a never ending horizon.

Coracle Boat Ride
A coracle is a traditional boat that has been used in this area for ages to transport people across rivers. A ride over the Tungabhadra river is a must and a truly unique experience.

Hippie markets
It's the ideal location for hippy hair styling, souvenir shopping, and cafe hopping. Ultimately, it has the atmosphere to keep you interested.

Virupaksha Temple
Both pilgrims and tourists love the Virupaksha temple equally.

Matanga Hills
As per mythology, Matanga Hill is one of the sacred locations mentioned in the epic Ramayana as Saint Matanga's foundation. It is also the location where Sugriva benefited from the sage Matanga's magical protection. It is a beautiful sunrise spot

Hemkunta Hill
The sunrise and sunset views from Hemakuta Hill are among the best in all of Hampi.

Vitthala temple
Visit the monument from a 50 rupees note in real life. this place is famous for various architectural marvels like musical pillars, a stone chariot, and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1:

People joining from Pune/Mumbai via tempo traveler:

8:00pm:Sukhwani Petrol pump Wakad Under flyover

8.30 pm:Pickup from JM Corner

9.00 pm-Navle bridge Pickup


Mumbai people will have a volvo booked for 1.30pm from Mumbai to Pune and from Pune the group will go ahead in a tempo traveler.


People joining from Pune/Mumbai via Sleeper Bus:


3.30 pm: Pickup from Borivali National Park(List of detailed pickup points is given at end of itinerary)

7.30 pm onwards: Pickup from Wakad, Hinjewadi, Katraj(List of detailed pickup points is given at end of itinerary)

 

Day 2:

  • People will be transferred from Hospet to Hampi in autos
  • Reach Hampi early morning and have breakfast
  • Relax for sometime after a long journey
  • Freshen up and have lunch as we start our sightseeing after lunch
  • Enjoy the magical coracle ride in the Tungabhadra river
  • We do some adventure activities like cliff jumping(Depending upon water levels)
  • Enjoy the sunset from the other side of Hampi 
  • Today we enjoy our dinner at the magical Mango Tree Restaurant

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch

Day 3:

  • Have breakfast and head towards the Ganesha temple, Lotus Temple, and other ruins
  • Today we explore all the ruins and get to know the magical history of Hampi
  • You will be clicking your dream pictures today
  • Have lunch at the beautiful paradise cafe and head for a magical sunset to Vitthala temple
  • Post sunset we head towards Murudeshwar dinner on the way

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch

Day 4:

  • Early morning around 2.00 am we reach Murudeshwar/Gokarna as per availability and check into a guesthouse
  • Relax and have a tight sleep till 7.00 am
  • Post breakfast we visit the mighty Murudeshwara temple
  • Later we depart towards Gokarna.
  • On the way we halt at Honnavar do boating or boardwalk (If time permits)
  • We reach Gokarna and visit the Mahabaleshwar temple and Gokarna beach.
  • Later we watch sunset at Gokarna beach/ murudeshwar as per stay location and depart back home
  • Depart to Pune,Mumbai. 
  • People traveling with sleeper buses will be dropped at the bus pickup point

Day 5:

  • 8.00 am: Reach Pune with loads of memories
  • Kindly consider buffer of at least 2-3 hours.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trekfit Adventures, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. We request all participants to carefully read and understand our cancellation and refund policy before confirming their booking.

1. Pending Payment Policy

  • Complete your pending payment 5 days before departure.

  • Failure to pay the second installment may result in booking cancellation and forfeiture of the advance payment.

  • Boarding may be denied for non-payment, and the seat may be reassigned.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Backpacking Trips and Long Tours More Than 4 Nights

  • 30+ days before departure: Full refund in Trekfit Adventures coupon/credit OR monetary refund after deduction of 15% cancellation charges.

  • Less than 20 days before departure: No monetary refund. 75% of the eligible amount may be provided as Trekfit Adventures coupon/credit.

  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

  • If unwell: No refund. Participants may arrange a replacement, subject to Trekfit Adventures' approval.

For Sahyadri Treks, Camping & Weekend Trips

  • 5 days before departure: Full refund in Trekfit Adventures coupon/credit OR monetary refund after deduction of 15% cancellation charges.

  • Less than 3 days before departure: No monetary refund. 50% of the eligible amount may be provided as Trekfit Adventures coupon/credit if the booking has been fully paid.

  • Ticket Transfer: Possible subject to Trekfit Adventures' approval.

  • No-show or illness: No refund. Participants may arrange a replacement, subject to approval.

  • Advance Booking Amount: Non-refundable,Postponement Is allowed 3 Days before the Trek  

3. Important Non-Refundable Charges

Trek insurance, train cancellation charges, agent charges, convenience charges, and other third-party charges are non-refundable if the trip is cancelled within 6 days before departure.

New Year & Christmas Events

No refund will be applicable within 15 days before New Year and Christmas events.

4. If Trekfit Adventures Cancels a Trip

Due to Natural Calamity or Unrest

  • If the trip has already started, no refund will be applicable for services affected by such circumstances.

  • Trekfit Adventures will make reasonable efforts to assist participants with alternate arrangements.

Before Departure

  • If Trekfit Adventures cancels the trip before departure, a full refund may be provided, except for non-refundable train, bus, hotel, airline, permit, or other third-party charges, wherever applicable.

Sahyadri Treks

If a Sahyadri trek is cancelled due to low participation, participants may choose between:

  • Event/date shift.

Transport Issues

In case of transport-related issues, Trekfit Adventures may arrange an alternative wherever possible. Any additional cost arising from the alternative arrangement will be borne by the participant.

5. Trip Delays & Connecting Transport Failures

Trekfit Adventures will assist with alternate arrangements in case of:

  • Train delays

  • Bus delays

  • Flight delays

  • Missed connections

  • Roadblocks

  • Vehicle breakdowns

  • Natural calamities

  • Other circumstances beyond our control

Any additional expenses arising due to such delays, changes, or alternate arrangements will be borne by the participant.

6. Cancellation Process

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email with the participant's booking details.

Cancellation policy will be applicable from the date and time the cancellation email is received.

Refunds will generally be processed within 2–5 working days after approval of the eligible refund.

Cancellation requests through phone calls or WhatsApp will not be considered valid.

7. Important Note

Any additional costs incurred due to an extension or change in itinerary because of natural calamities, train/bus delays or cancellation, roadblocks, vehicle breakdowns, government restrictions, weather conditions, or other factors beyond the control of Trekfit Adventures and its associates will be borne by the participant.
